In a surprising shift, Australian men aged 30 to 40 are leading the charge when it comes to seeking help for sexual health issues like erectile dysfunction (ED), outpacing older demographics, according to men’s online health platform Mosh

While doctors say ED becomes more common as men age, new data shows complaints about ED in younger men are on the rise, with one in four new ED patients now under 40.
“As the festive season approaches, we’ve recorded a consistent 30 percent spike in younger men reaching out for help, highlighting the critical need for discreet, stigma-free solutions to sensitive health challenges that men often deem embarrassing to talk about,” says Mosh consulting General Practitioner, Doctor Ash Bowden.
“The festive season often brings reflection, resolutions, and a desire for self-improvement so it’s no surprise that November-to-December trends show more men deciding to address their sexual health,” adds Doctor Bowden.
“The stress of in-person appointments, however, often deters men from seeking help. Younger men are getting better about asking for the help they need.”
Stigma has long been a roadblock for men discussing issues like ED, but online health platforms like Mosh are changing the narrative.
“With a model built for convenience, Mosh eliminates those barriers, connecting men with trusted, independent health practitioners, ensuring tailored, pressure-free care,” says Doctor Bowden.
This festive season, Mosh is encouraging men to prioritise their well-being and break the silence on sexual health.
It is estimated up to 150 million men worldwide suffer from ED with this figure almost doubling in the last two decades.
With a commitment to confidentiality, convenience, and care, Mosh is empowering Aussie men to take charge of their health without judgement and awkwardness.
Mosh has also launched a cheeky new outdoor campaign aimed at raising awareness around erectile dysfunction with billboards that encourage men to ‘get it up’ faster than notoriously slow to build construction sites around Sydney and Melbourne, like the Sydney Fish Market, North Sydney Pool and Crown Melbourne.
