With the festive season rapidly approaching, it’s time to get your bartender on and impress your family with these tasty rum-based beverages.

Super premium Venezualan rum, Diplomático has created these five classic cocktail recipes, putting their tasteful twist on festive crowd favourites. The family-owned distillery is committed to quality and putting passion and heart into its rums, including its original rum-based recipes.

Perfect to serve at Christmas dinner or to simply enjoy in the leadup to the holidays, with festive flavours from gingerbread to eggnog. These recipes are so good, you’ll need to try them all!


Christmas Eggnog

Ingredients:

  • 45ml Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva 
  • 30ml Whole milk
  • 30ml Fresh Cream
  • 1 Egg yolk 
  • 10ml Vanilla syrup 
  • Garnish : Nutmeg / Star anise
  • Glass: Rocks 

Instructions:

  1. Pour Reserva Exclusiva, milk, cream, egg yolk and vanilla syrup into a shaker and shake until combined
  2. Pour drink into your glass, on the rocks
  3. Garnish with nutmeg/star anise 



Gingerbread Old Fashioned

Ingredients: 

  • 50ml Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva 
  • 5ml Gingerbread syrup 
  • 2 dashes Aromatic bitters 
  • Glass: Rocks
  • Garnish: Orange peel / Gingerbread 

Instructions:

  1. Pour Reserva Exclusiva, gingerbread syrup and aromatic bitters into your glass, on the rocks
  2. Garnish with orange peel or gingerbread



Diplo Holidays

Ingredients:

  • 45ml Diplomatico Mantuano
  • 30ml Fresh Pomegranate juice 
  • 15ml Dry Curacao 
  • 10ml Fresh lime juice 
  • 1 dash aromatic bitters 
  • Garnish: Rosemary
  • Glass: Coupe

Instructions:

  1. Pour Mantuano, pomegranate juice, dry curacao, lime juice and aromatic bitters into your coupe glass
  2. Garnish with rosemary



Diplo Kick Start
 

Ingredients:

  • 30ml Diplomatico Mantuano
  • 30ml Coffee Liquor
  • 30ml Cold brew coffee
  • Orange cream float
  • Glass: Nick & Nora
  • Garnish: Chocolate powder  

Instructions:

  1. Pour Mantuano, coffee liquor and cold brew coffee into your Nick & Nora glass
  2. Add orange cream float
  3. Garnish with chocolate powder 



Diplo Sunday Brunch

Ingredients:

  • 30ml Diplomatico Mantuano
  • 10ml Honey syrup
  • 5ml Allspice dram 
  • 45ml Fresh pineapple juice 
  • 10ml Fresh lime juice 
  • 40ml Dry Prosecco 
  • Glass: Coupe or Champagne flute 
  • Garnish: Mint or pineapple leaf

Instructions:

  1. Pour Mantuano, honey, allspice dram, pineapple juice, lime juice and prosecco into shaker
  2. Shake until combined
  3. Pour into Coupe or Champagne flute glass
  4. Garnish with mint or pineapple leaf
