Lions Tour Fan Zone, State of Origin, New Seasonal Menu and Midweek Dining Special

 

Coogee Bay Hotel is set for a big June, with a roaring line-up of sporting events, winter flavours and midweek dining specials by the beach. From the much-anticipated Lions Tour 2025 to State of Origin screenings and a bold new seasonal menu, the iconic coastal venue continues to deliver unbeatable experiences across food, sport and community.

LIONS TOUR 2025: FAN ZONE EXPERIENCE AND LIVE SCREENINGS

June 28 – August 2

Rugby fans can catch every match of the Lions Tour 2025 live and loud across Coogee Bay Hotel, with free general admission and a ticketed Fan Zone experience in Selina’s from 28 June to 2 August.

The Fan Zone offers premium seating, a feed and bevvy at Marra Bar & Grill, half-time snacks, live entertainment, giveaways and exclusive Lions merch – all for just $99. For those keen to stay closer to the action, complimentary general admission standing tickets offer access to the big screens, live music, and the electric match-day atmosphere.

Accommodation packages at will also be available for travelling fans looking to make a weekend of it.

STATE OF ORIGIN: LIVE AND LOUD ACROSS THE VENUE

Game 2: 18 June | Game 3: 9 July

State of Origin returns to Coogee Bay Hotel for Games 2 and 3, with both matches screened live and loud across The Garden and Sports Bar – home to the biggest outdoor screens in Sydney’s east.

Guests can enjoy Origin-themed food specials, including the NSW Northern Rivers Lamb Roll or the QLD Old Tiger Prawn Burger, plus pints for schooner prices with VB, giveaways, and the chance to win $50,000 cash and tickets to Game 3.

NEW WINTER MENU LAUNCHING JUNE 2025

This June also marks the debut of Coogee Bay Hotel’s new seasonal menu, uniting The Garden and Marra Bar & Grill under a bold, flavour-driven winter offering.

Curated by the venue’s culinary team, the new menu features a range of warming and refined dishes, including:

  • Truffled beef cheek pie with buttery mash
  • Josper-roasted chicken with tarragon sauce
  • Yellowfin tuna crudo with blood orange
  • King salmon with celeriac rémoulade

With one menu served across two venues, guests can enjoy a diverse and elevated winter dining experience – all set against Coogee’s iconic coastal backdrop.

TWIRL & SWIRL TUESDAYS: $30 PASTA & WINE SPECIAL

Every Tuesday – Lunch & Dinner

Launching this June, Coogee Bay Hotel introduces Twirl & Swirl Tuesdays – a weekly pasta special served with a glass of house wine for just $30.
