In September 2022, Studio Moso reflects on the recently built Mount Baw Baw website

Studio Moso, an exemplary web design and development company located in Melbourne, talks success after working on the new Mount Baw Baw website.

For the winter season in Australia, Mount Baw Baw partnered with Studio Moso to refresh and update their website.

We were able to assist the Mount Baw Baw team in creating a more modern and appealing website ready for the inevitable traffic that was coming.

This project is yet another example of our goal as a studio to deliver bespoke client experiences and improve our work with each job.

The aim of the new website overhaul was to better represent Mount Baw Baw's position as the state's primary alpine destination.

We were able to increase conversions by creating a new website that is visually appealing and inspired by mountain landscapes. Furthermore, we removed any hindrances or obstacles that the customer might experience during their journey.

The new branding also uses a more modern colour palette and typeface to give Mount Baw Baw a fresh new feel and make a solid first impression on first-time visitors.

More About Studio Moso

Studio Moso is a web dev company based in Melbourne that creates custom branded web applications, social media applications, mobile apps, and content management solutions. We've been servicing clients of all sizes since 2004.

Creating tailor-made web applications is our specialty. This way, we can ensure that each one of our clients has a unique experience.

We excel in creating bespoke content management solutions and mobile applications that capture a client's brand identity, while continuing to push boundaries with each new project.

We've recently gone through a brand overhaul, with the launch of a new website and identity to align with our growth as a studio. With our new branding, we are able to position ourselves competitively and attract clients that will have a larger impact in the space.

The project for Mount Baw Baw

Mt. Baw Baw resort is a top destination for skiing, snowboarding, and tobogganing in Victoria state of Australia. It's become one of the most popular resorts in Victoria, and this past winter was the first time that locals didn't have to worry about being locked down due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The hope for increased customer bookings inspired the redesign of the website to make booking a trip easy.

The natural beauty of Mt Baw Baw was key in the design of its website - visitors should feel as if they are looking at essential visuals when they explore the site.

"We kept the website design simple and easy to use so that users could make a reservation at the resort without any trouble." says Studio Moso

From the homepage, visitors can view current snow levels, temperatures, the number of lifts accessible, and live webcam feeds. The goal of the renovation and website redesign is to increase conversions and develop new business for the resort.

A bright future for Studio Moso

Paul Matteo is the studio's Managing Director, and our team is able to develop unique experiences because of his leadership and knowledge in the space.

"Our design team has a wealth of knowledge and experience that will guide you to make innovative choices that ensure your brand is communicated effectively and delights users" says Studio Moso

Studio Moso has a very bright future, with multiple awards and site of the day winners on Awwwards, an authority in community voted websites.
