Tactica launches new genre-defining range of outdoor knives

That’s Not A Knife… This Is A Knife

Australian everyday carry tool manufacturer Tactica launches first range of outdoor knives along side crowdfunding campaign

NSW North coast based everyday carry tool designer, Tactica, is launching its first line of outdoor and everyday carry pocket knives. The long awaited release from Tactia’s international community coincides with the opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to buy their own stake in the fast growing company, with the brand launching its first crowdfunded equity raise via Birchal on June 7.

Developed as a result of in-field testing and feedback from their growing and international community base, the Tactica team are now releasing the  K.100 Pocket Knife and K.150 Micro-knife. Both are sleek folding knives with superb ergonomics, blade quality and a customisable carry with lanyard/ pocket clip options. The modern, minimalist aesthetic with a subtle pop of orange makes them as stylish as they are functional,  a perfect match for the modern day carry.

Utilising the unique and high-tech composite material that saw customers around the world fall in love with Tactica’s range of multitools, the knives are also incredibly lightweight. The glass composite material is also used in aerospace engineering, so it’s light enough to easily carry everywhere and strong enough to tackle the toughest of jobs.

K.100 Pocket Knife

Launched off the back of customer demand, the K.100 is the first knife developed by Tactica. Featuring the same high-end composite the brand is known for, its handle is well paired with a D2 tool steel reverse tanto blade. Ergonomic, lightweight with  exceptional handling, the K.100 is perfect for those looking for their next adventure tool.

The K.100 comes with an integrated lanyard hole, so it can easily attach to your keychain, as well as a  sleek pocket clip, so anyone working on the go can easily access their tool when they need it.

RRP: $129.95 AUD

K.150 Micro Knife

The smaller of the two knives, the K.150 is the perfect piece of gear for anyone looking for a slimline, compact knife that can still get the job done on the worksite or in the great outdoors. When folded the K.150 is only slightly bigger than a traditional USB stick.

With an integrated lanyard hole, it easily can attach to your keys, and the composite is non-scratch, so it won’t leave any marks on your gear when it’s sharing pocket space.

RRP: $89.95AUD

Both knives will be available on the (15th August) via Tactica’s website, and the launch coincides with Tactica’s latest crowdfunding campaign.  Led by the crowdfunding and outdoor communities since day one, this is Tactica’s first equity raise and gives new and experienced investors an opportunity to become part of the company's rapid growth.

“Since day one, our community has been our biggest asset in providing feedback and direction on our offering,”said Mike Chijoff, CEO and Founder of Tactica. “Previously our crowdfunding campaigns have been about developing new products; now we’re self-sufficient enough to push ourselves further and keep innovating, but it’s an essential mantra of our operations that we maintain that connection with our supporters. They are the core of who we are, why we exist and why we keep continuing to grow and create new products.”

For Australians interested in investing in Tactica, the company is launching a crowdfunding campaign on Birchal, with expressions of interest launching at 10am on June 7.
