THINKING OF BOATING OVER EASTER? TOP SPOTS AROUND SYDNEY HARBOUR & KU-RING-GAI

At Boatlife Society, we’re constantly finding new places to explore and new ways to have boating fun.  The Easter weekend is always a great time for boating in Sydney, with the Autumn weather generally bringing warmer water and clear, crisp days.

We’ve pulled together some of our favourite ways to enjoy boating on Sydney Harbour and the Ku-Ring-Gai Chase waterways so you can plan a different boating experience each day of the Easter break.

Good Friday: Milk Beach, Sydney

Throw some freshly cooked prawns and cold drinks into the ice box and anchor off Milk Beach for a seafood lunch with a view straight down the harbour to the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Easter Saturday: Ku-Ring-Gai

Head to Ku-Ring-Gai! At America’s Bay there’s usually a few boats open to a friendly raft-up. Head to shore and trek to the top of the escarpment for great views and rockpools.

Easter Sunday: Middle Harbour, Sydney

Motor over to Middle Harbour and pull in at Clontarf Reserve where you can set up your own Easter egg hunt among the trees. Then pop around to Fairlight Beach for some snorkelling off the boat – there’s plenty to see under the sea here.

Easter Monday: Cockatoo Island, Sydney

Cruise around the edges of Balmain, Glebe, Hunters Hill to check out the waterfront houses and stop for lunch at Cockatoo Island’s Marina Café & Bar for a leisurely lunch in this quirky outdoor set-up.  It’s easy to park the boat at the marina and you simply pay for your berth at the bar.

Don’t have a boat of your own?   You can still enjoy the boating lifestyle without the hassles involved in boat ownership.

At Boatlife Society, we think everyone should be able to enjoy the fun and freedom on life with a boat, so we created a membership-based boat club where you can have all the fun of boating without the hassles and additional expense of owning a boat.

Boatlife Society offers accessible boats and affordable memberships , from just $395 per month. Our boats are based on Sydney Harbour (out of Rozlle) and at Akuna Bay, Ku-Ring-Gai Chase.
